Internal Family Systems:

Meeting Every Part of You with Compassion

IFS is an invitation.

An invitation to meet yourself — and all of the parts that make up the unique, multi-faceted being that you are.

A journey inwards to understand the parts that protect, the parts that push, the parts that judge. The ones that have been working tirelessly to keep you safe, functional, and moving through the world. The ones carrying things they were never meant to carry alone.

In our work together, we might begin by tuning into the body — noticing what sensations are present, what's alive in this moment. Or we might follow what's happening in your life, what's been weighing on you, what keeps coming up. We notice what's present, and we follow that. You don't need to have the "right" words or understand why you feel the way you do. We welcome and follow what’s arising in the present moment. From there, we slow down enough to get to know the parts that are showing up — understanding their role, how they are trying to help, or what they are wanting for you. Through this process, we often find that our parts are not how we have been perceiving them. When we can meet those parts with some genuine curiosity, something begins to shift.
