Meet Sophia Koh, LCSW
Sophia uses an attuned and compassionate approach to accompany you in your deep inner healing work. She incorporates mindfulness and somatic-based practices to identify, honor, and release emotions or narratives that impact your well-being or self-perception. They also infuse lessons from nature and nature’s cycles as a guide to inner self-discovery.
Techniques and Focus Areas
Techniques: Sophia works to meet you where you are and calls upon specific strategies that are in alignment with your healing goals. Sophia draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS / parts work), EMDR, mindfulness meditation techniques, yoga nidra, and somatic based practices to assist in deepening your healing journey.
Focus Areas: Trauma, Anxiety, Grief/Loss, Attachment, Relationships, Life Transitions, Identity Exploration, Self-Regulation, Parenting, LGBTQIA+, Polyamory/CNM.

Sophia offers a free 30 minute consultation Zoom call, providing you with the opportunity to connect and explore if we are a good fit to support your unique journey.
At this time, Sophia is only seeing Colorado based clients. All sessions are 50 minutes via telehealth using HIPAA compliant Zoom. Services are offered in English and Spanish. They accept Optum, United, UMR, and Select Health insurance and offer a select number of sliding scale slots for private pay clients. If you identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA+ and are having difficulty finding affordable mental health treatment, please send a consultation request and Sophia will work with you to find accessible care.
